What it actually does

Channel links with ?clip=, /clips/ paths and the shortened share links all resolve to the same clip.

Honest about the route
Kick will not serve a browser directly, so the tool says which relay carried your clip and lets you refuse the public ones.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the clip come straight from Kick?+
No, and it cannot. Kick's clip API sits behind Cloudflare and its video CDN sends no CORS headers, so a browser is not allowed to read either one directly. Every clip is relayed. Our own relay is tried first; if it fails, a handful of public CORS proxies are the fallback, and the notice above the input lets you switch those off and shows which host actually served your last download.
Is there a limit on how many clips at once?+
No hard limit, but clips are resolved three at a time and downloaded five at a time on purpose, so Kick does not start refusing requests. Fifty links in one go is comfortable; several hundred will take a while and is more likely to hit a rate limit partway through.
Why is the ZIP the same size as the clips?+
Because it is stored, not compressed. Video is already compressed, so running it through zip's deflate saves almost nothing and costs a lot of waiting. The pack is a container, not a squeeze.
What does "Max Quality" actually download?+
The highest rendition Kick published for that clip, whatever that happens to be. It is not upscaled to 1080p: if the streamer broadcast at 720p, the source is 720p, and the tool will not invent detail that was never recorded.
Do you keep my links or the clips?+
We keep neither. Links are resolved as they arrive and nothing is written to a database. Your language choice and your public-relay preference are stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere. What we cannot promise for you is what a public relay does with a URL it is asked to fetch, which is exactly why you can turn them off.
